Emma Siu is a geneticist turned award-winning Community Manager. She developed her skills in Community Management and Communications in the indie game scene and further honed in AAA mobile live-service. Emma has written for Kotaku and subsequently been featured on sites such as Gizmodo, Gamasutra (now Game Developer), MassivelyOP, etc. She has presented as a speaker at Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Games Connect Asia Pacific, Geek Girl Academy’s SheMakes_Games, GX Australia, and PAX Australia.

During Community Manager Advancement Day 2021, Emma was awarded the Community Professional of the Year: Gaming Award.

She was featured in MCV Pacific’s 30 under 30 for 2016 and 2017, and Develop’s 30 under 30 as a honourable mention, and has been named as one of the 100 most Influential Women in Games by MCV Pacific.
