She has worked on a wide range of titles including the recently released Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition on PS5, Paradox Interactive’s Cities: Skylines - Remastered, KIXEYE’s VEGA Conflict, Gameloft’s Ice Age Village, EA’s Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and The Simpsons: Tapped Out and more. She is currently working as part of the amazing team at Tantalus North in Brisbane as the Studio Technical Director where they work in AAA game development and porting.
Developing a live service game is incredibly difficult. Using her over 8 years experience in live service game development, Anna will talk about the challenges in developing and maintaining a live service game for mobile platforms.
She will then look at the technical and architectural approaches that have most helped or hindered with these challenges, with the aim to give developers a toolbox of approaches that they can draw from in the development of their own projects.
